Chemical Testing
DUT’s should be in power off condition.
Secure a clean cotton cloth to the sweeping arm, ensuring it is tightly tied and covers the contact area fully.
Apply an adequate amount of isopropanol to the cotton cloth on the sweeping arm Fix the DUT’s using holding fixture.
Place the DUTs securely in the holding fixture, ensuring they are stable and will not move during the sweeping process.
the sweeping machine to operate at a speed of 100 sweeps per minute. Program the machine to perform a total of 200 sweeps
After the sweeping process, carefully inspect each DUT for any signs of cracks, blisters, bubbles, corrosion
Specification & Criteria:
Chemical: Isopropanol
Chemical test on front plastic over and LOGO
Cycles: 200 sweeps
Total Time: 2 minutes.
Fabric: Cotton cloth.
Pressure: The pressure applied during cleaning should be the same as that used when wiping the unit during normal use.
