Composite Temperature / Humidity Cyclic Test

This test chamber involves exposing components to cycles typically including phases of high temperature with high humidity, followed by a transition to low temperature with low humidity, and vice versa. The specific conditions and duration of each phase are defined by the test parameters. This test determines a products’ resistance to the combined deteriorative effects of temperature and humidity on them. The test reveals defect in the specimens caused by breathing, as it absorbs moisture during the test cycle. The accelerated breathing and the effect of the freezing of trapped water in cracks and fissures in electronic components, seals and gaskets are generally tested in this chamber. Products are expected to operate without significant deterioration after the combine effect of temperature and humidity.
