Temperature Cycling Test

Thermal Cycling testing, determines the ability of parts to resist extremely low and extremely high temperature, as well as their ability to withstand cyclical exposure to these temperature extremes. A mechanical failure resulting from cyclical Thermochemical loading is known as a fatigue failures. So, temperature cycling primarily accelerate fatigue failures thermal shock testing (TST) closely resembles thermal cycling test and also accelerate fatigue failures. Temperature cycle testing consists of subjecting the parts of specified low / high temperature then subjecting some units to the specified high or low temperature for a specified number of cycles using an equipment known as temperature cycle chamber.

The test equipment has ranges and capacities of

Temperature Range: –65 °C to +150 ° ( Ramp Rate: 1°C/min to 15°C/min)
